MKM designed and carried out a sample survey in a weighted distribution from among the 80 villages in three townships, using a questionnaire of less than 1 hour in average duration. The design and the questionnaire was approved in writing by HelpAge International before field work commences. HelpAge International in Myanmar, the lead agency for the consortium, introduced MKM to the key contacts (State/Township/Village Authorities) for this work and arranged necessary official authorizations. MKM collected 1000 households in a total of 40
villages: Thandaunggyi Township (10 villages), Hpapun Township (15 villages) and
Kawkreik Township (15 villages). After data entry and data cleansing, Datasets
in SPSS and Excel were delivered in time.
