The impact assessment study was conducted by MKM
for HELVETAS in May 2017. Scope of work undertaken by MKM was data collection
team training, collection of quantitative and qualitative data in 2 pilot
villages in Tha Htone Township where partners of Helvetas microfinance projects
are working, data management, data analysis, report writing, facilitating
partnership assessment workshop, finding presentation to HELVETAS and her
partners in English as well as in Burmese and translating the report written in
English into Burmese. In terms of data collection, MKM collected data by
holding face to face interviews with 90 households in each village, resulting
in a total of 180 households for two villages. During data collection,
interviews were performed by using tablets in which AKVO flow data collection
software was installed. What is more, we also conducted a total of 10 KIIs, 5
community discussions and one partnership assessment workshop. We presented key
findings and draft report on time. Then, MKM delivered a finalized report on
time.
